Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required
• Less than 1 year's experience in financial accounting or related field is required
• Understanding GAAP, managerial accounting, and financial reporting standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Compute, analyze, and record financial transactions in the general ledger
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain spreadsheets and workbooks to support general ledger balances and financial reporting
• Review monthly financial statements for GAAP compliance
• Assist with accounting analysis on revenues and expenses to identify trends
• Support month-end/year-end closing processes and variance analysis
• Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with company policies
