Job summary

Core Financial Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking multiple entry-level staff accountants to support onsite and virtual bookkeeping, accounting, tax and consulting services. You will work with a flexible, team‑oriented culture in Doylestown/Plymouth Meeting areas and gain exposure to a variety of industries.

You will handle core accounting tasks, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant internship experience preferred (but not required).
• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with both colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Maintain and update General Ledger accounts
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare adjusting journal entries
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements
• Conduct financial statement analysis (budget vs. actuals, prior year comparisons, trend analysis, etc.)
• Support cash flow forecasting
• Prepare 1099s
• Assist with audits and special projects as needed
• Manage multiple client engagements and meet concurrent deadlines
