As a Staff Accountant, you will support multiple client engagements across a variety of industries. This role offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting functions and the opportunity to build a strong technical foundation in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and client service.
You will work alongside experienced professionals in a fast‑paced environment, contributing to accurate financial reporting and helping clients stay organized, compliant, and informed.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Maintain and update General Ledger accounts
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare adjusting journal entries
Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements
Conduct financial statement analysis (budget vs. actuals, prior year comparisons, trend analysis, etc.)
Support cash flow forecasting
Prepare 1099s
Assist with audits and special projects as needed
Manage multiple client engagements and meet concurrent deadlines
(Skills and Qualifications for This Position)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Relevant internship experience preferred (but not required)
Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with both colleagues and clients
