Position Summary

The Junior Accountant will handle numerical data entry, classification, and record-keeping to maintain accurate financial records. They will analyze financial information, prepare reports, and stay up to date on international accounting standards. Additionally, this role includes processing invoice payments and reconciling accounts.

Essential Functions

• Perform mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verify data accuracy, and rectify errors.
• Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes.
• Maintain and update records related to profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
• Review financial statements for compliance with accounting regulations across jurisdictions.
• Facilitate transactions with foreign entities.
• Stay updated on international accounting standards.
• Process outgoing payments according to company guidelines.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger and ensure accurate postings.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for management.
