This position is structured as an entry point into the hospital's Finance organization. The Junior Accountant works directly with the Accounting Manager and receives hands‑on training in general ledger accounting, the close calendar, audit preparation, and healthcare‑specific reporting requirements. Demonstrated proficiency opens a path toward a Staff Accountant role.

This position is performed on‑site in a professional office environment within a hospital facility. It involves remaining in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer, operating standard office equipment, communicating and exchanging accurate information with colleagues in person, by telephone, and in writing, occasionally moving about the facility to attend meetings and access records, and occasionally lifting or moving objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
