You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and assist with financial statements, audits, and regulatory reporting. This role is ideal for early-career professionals aiming to grow within a dedicated finance team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included).
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable (vendor invoices, payment runs) and accounts receivable (invoicing, collections).
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations.
• Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expense amortization.
• Help prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management.

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is a great fit for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle, with mentorship from senior finance staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable (vendor invoices, payment runs) and accounts receivable (invoicing, collections)
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations
• Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expense amortization
• Help prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
• Support compliance with GAAP (or applicable accounting standards) and internal policies
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management
