Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience in small‑to‑mid‑sized company.
• Experience with GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Hands‑on month‑end close, reconciliations, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations in line with GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for close.
• Process a high volume of vendor bills and maintain vendor records.
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance.
• Assist with external audits, providing schedules and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes as the company grows.

A growing beverage company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its Accounts Payable function and broader day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands‑on role best suited for a detail‑oriented professional who's comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small‑to‑mid‑sized company environment, with room to grow as the organization scales.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations in line with GAAP
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of month‑end close
• Process a high volume of vendor bills and maintain accurate vendor records
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Assist with external audits, providing schedules and documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes as the company grows

Qualifications
