LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading retail company to fill a Junior Accountant role in Centennial, CO. The position is HYBRID, with on-site work required Tuesdays and Thursdays and work-from-home the rest of the week using company equipment.

The role is TEMPORARY for at least 3 months, with potential extension or conversion to permanent. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $33.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility noted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing AP and AR.
• Communicate with customers: payment reminders and collections follow-up.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading retail company to fill their open Junior Accountant job in Centennial, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 3 months. Depending on your performance and our client's staffing needs, this role may get extended and/or be converted to a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $28.00 and $33.00 per hour in this role. You will also be eligible to sign up for LHH's benefits programs (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with processing AP and AR
• Communicating with customers: sending payment reminders, following up on collections
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Preparing sales tax returns
• Assisting with month end close processes
• All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

• At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with AS400 or similar accounting software preferred

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $28.00 and $33.00
