Job summary

Hai Robotics USA is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support accurate day‑to‑day accounting, including accounts receivable, transaction processing, and reconciliations, in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, and eager to strengthen practical accounting skills while taking ownership of recurring tasks. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure audit‑ready documentation and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Two to three years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with accounting or ERP software is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Process and record day‑to‑day accounting transactions accurately and on time, including receipts, expenses, and deposits.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including data entry, customer billing, collection follow‑up, and responses to customer inquiries.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and selected general ledger account reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with preparing internal financial reports and providing accurate supporting data to the Finance team and other departments.
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit‑ready accounting records in electronic and paper formats, as applicable.
  • Support tax filings, audits, and other compliance activities by compiling documentation and responding to information requests, as assigned.
  • Follow internal controls, confidentiality requirements, and company policies; identify and appropriately escalate errors, unusual transactions, or process issues.
  • Assist with Finance projects, process improvements, and other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications
Education

Experience
  • Two to three years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Practical experience supporting transaction processing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, recordkeeping, or related accounting operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, account reconciliations, and the general ledger.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with accounting or ERP software is an asset.
  • Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and a professional approach to confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow assignments through to completion, and learn new systems, processes, and accounting requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
Working Hours and Commitment

This is a full‑time position with a standard commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. The regular work schedule will be established based on business needs. Consistent availability during core business hours is required, and occasional additional hours may be needed during audits or other peak operational periods. This role is intended as an ongoing full‑time position.
