The AT&T Retail Partnerships and Junior Account Representative role acts as liaison between AT&T and our national retail partners and associated vendors. The Junior Account Representative will provide oversight and day-to-day management and support these partnerships, ensuring proper execution of AT&T sales and organizational goals and partner’s delivery of excellent customer service.

The Junior Account Representative is responsible for managing the implementation and compliance of AT&T policies and procedures related to operations. Additionally, they will create and deliver training programs to foster success for both parties. The role involves business planning, execution of merchandising, and all sales-related activities within their territory.

The AR will develop sales strategies and manage one to two Independent Service Organizations (ISO) with agents that sell AT&T services in brick-and-mortar locations. Each ISO has 1 main office, 15+ selling locations, and up to 40 sales agents. The AR will develop sales strategy and oversee the sales associates at each location.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  2. Account Management & Partnership:
  3. Manage daily Retail Partners Retailer sales, including developing and building relationships with retail partners such as Target and Best Buy.
  4. Partner closely with stakeholders/decision makers from your assigned ISO to create/manage growth plans.
  5. Manage 3rd Party ISOs, train, and support owners of these companies to sell AT&T services.
  6. Conduct daily visits with ISOs to discuss and influence metrics, including weekly meetings with ISO owners and daily interactions with sales agents.
  7. Work cross-functionally with operations, strategy, and divisional teams to ensure alignment with company/department objectives.
  8. Ensure the AT&T brand is appropriately represented. Conduct territory & store visits within budget & expense guidelines.
  9. Investigate and resolve sales order escalations expediently. Complete and follow-up on customer accounts through interactions with other departments and customers as needed.
  10. Audit and review orders for compliance and address issues with the team/owner as needed.
  11. Complete sales reports and deliverables timely to the Territory Manager.
  12. Oversee the productivity of sales associates and address performance issues as appropriate.

Sales and Business Development:

  1. Forecast & set monthly goals for retail partnership teams.
  2. Meet or exceed sales goals.
  3. Analyze sales metrics and develop strategies to improve performance.
  4. Manage daily account activities related to sales entries and installations.
  5. Report weekly sales trends to leadership teams.
  6. Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual business review meetings.

Training:

  1. Train retail teams on AT&T products, services, and marketing offers.
  2. Conduct training sessions, coaching, and in-store demonstrations, including train-the-trainer sessions and new product launches.
  3. Collaborate with regional and local partners to implement sales and marketing initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of strong sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Excellent sales presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and initiative skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to partner locations.

Education

Preferred Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

Related Work Experience

1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Daily field rides with account reps, bi-weekly site visits, and division-wide travel required.
