The Junior Account Manager Role

The Junior Account Manager works as the “right hand” of the account team, offering direct project support. This role involves managing client business activities, including administration, financial tracking, and project progression.

You will support live projects and programs, working closely with the client services team and beginning to build long-lasting client relationships with guidance from senior team members.

What You Will Do
  1. Work closely with the account director on client accounts, including events, promotional programs, and materials.
  2. Coordinate the development and production of medical education tactics.
  3. Update client status reports, track budgets, and manage timelines regularly.
  4. Develop client service skills and brand/account management skills.
  5. Handle legal and regulatory submission of documents.
Requirements
  1. Strong interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  4. Solutions-oriented, adaptable, resourceful.
  5. Detail-oriented with a passion for excellence.
  6. Highly organized, able to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  7. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; database knowledge a plus.
  8. Degree in life sciences, liberal arts, marketing, or communications preferred; interest in medical science and pharma marketing is a plus.
  9. This is an entry-level position.

This position requires a hybrid work schedule (at least three days in-office) based out of New York, NY, or Stamford, CT.

The salary range is $50,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and other factors. Salaries may vary, and the range is part of the total compensation package. HCG reserves the right to modify this range.
