Job summary

Veolia invites entry-level Account Associate candidates to support mining and heavy industry customers in northern Minnesota while gaining hands-on experience in chemical treatment systems and water management. You will shadow Account Managers, collect samples, analyze data, and help prepare technical reports, while building customer relationships and learning compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, or Biology/Chemistry/Environmental Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience welcome.
• Interest in water and process chemical treatment.
• Strong academic background or internship in technical fields/industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Learn chemical treatment programs for Dust Control, Material Handling, Antiscalant, Solid‑Liquid Separation, Cooling Water, Boiler Water, Wastewater and Memchem.
• Collect samples, evaluate data, and assist in preparing technical reports under supervision.
• Complete comprehensive technical training programs to build foundational knowledge.
• Assist with customer visits and service calls to gain exposure to industrial environments and customer relationships.
