Job summary
TruRoots Company in Chico, California, is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead processing and packaging engineering projects, improve juice processing systems, and design packaging solutions across the facility. You will work with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production and continuous improvement.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, and hands-on packaging development and equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Packaging, or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least three years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing with processing and packaging projects.
- Experience with packaging development, supplier evaluation, specs, testing, and implementation on production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead processing and packaging projects from feasibility to start-up and closeout.
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and test requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure readiness and compliance.
