Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Filler Operator for our Seabrook, New Jersey location. The role focuses on filling operations, equipment oversight, and ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of manufacturing experience. The starting rate is $22.75/hr with shift differentials of $0.35/hr on 2nd shift and $0.45/hr on 3rd shift, plus medical insurance via Local Union 152.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move juice from the balance tank to the filler and monitor temperature control charts; ensure critical control points are met.
• Attend the filler to optimize production-line run time.
• Monitor bottle flow from depalletizing area and clear jams; notify maintenance of mechanical issues.
• Retrieve caps and fill the cap hopper; adjust fill speed for proper workflow.
• Perform changeovers on filler, rinser, and depal; adjust rails and parts accordingly.
• Conduct required product quality control tests and sample production for conformance to standards.
• Record product changes at changeover times on temperature charts and logs.
• Taste test products as needed (up to a few ounces).
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and document wash procedures.
