Vintage Grocers in Malibu is seeking an Assistant Department Manager for the Juice & Coffee Bar. You will lead a team, promote specialty beverages, and ensure high-quality beverage and food preparation with strict food safety adherence.

The role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, merchandising, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping meet sales goals. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required in a dynamic grocery environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service, grocery retail, or cafe management preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outstanding customer service and promote beverages, smoothies, fresh juices, coffee products, and grab-and-go items.
• Assist in overseeing daily Juice & Coffee Bar operations and ensure recipes and food safety guidelines are followed.
• Supervise staff, coaching, scheduling, and monitoring performance to maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Support inventory management, merchandising, and proper product presentation to drive sales.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
