Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Juice Bar Lead to assist the Taquería Manager in daily Juice Bar operations, drive sales, and maintain high standards of quality and service. You will supervise cashiers, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

The role requires experience in grocery or food retail, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexible scheduling including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of grocery or food retail experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.
• Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, and inventory systems).

Responsibilities

• Assist Taquería Manager with planning, organizing, and controlling Juice Bar operations to achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Train and mentor Juice Bar Cashiers, modeling Vallarta’s core values.
• Prepare and oversee Juice Bar food and beverages, ensuring quality and portions.
• Audit product pricing, tare weights, and inventory accuracy.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts with the Taquería Manager.
• Maintain food in refrigeration cases fresh and compliant with Health Dept standards.
• Order supplies, packaging, and utensils to prevent out-of-stocks.
• Create attractive, fully stocked displays with accurate signage and pricing.
