Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Juice Bar Lead to support the Taquería Manager with daily Juice Bar operations, supervise Cashiers, and uphold quality and safety standards. You will manage inventory, pricing audits, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 6 months in grocery or food retail, strong leadership, and the ability to train a team. A flexible schedule and willingness to transfer between stores are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Grocery or food retail experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Basic computer proficiency with Word and Outlook.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must speak English.
• Willingness to transfer to other store locations.
• Flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Taquería Manager with planning, organizing, and controlling Juice Bar operations to achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Train and mentor Juice Bar Cashiers, modeling Vallarta’s core values: customer service, commitment, integrity, respect, humility, and teamwork.
• Prepare and oversee Juice Bar food and beverages, ensuring consistency in quality, appearance, and portion sizes.
• Audit product pricing, tare weights, and inventory accuracy.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts with the Taquería Manager.
• Maintain food in refrigeration cases fresh, rotated, and in compliance with Health Department standards.
• Order supplies, packaging, and utensils in a timely manner to prevent out-of-stocks.
• Create attractive, fully stocked displays with accurate signage and pricing.
• Greet customers, address escalated feedback, and use suggestive selling techniques to promote sales.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance in all Juice Bar areas.
• Enforce Vallarta’s dress code, safety, and sanitation policies.
• Report employee complaints, concerns, or injuries to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
