Vallarta Supermarkets in Los Angeles is seeking a Juice Bar Lead to manage daily Juice Bar operations, supervise cashiers, and uphold quality and safety standards while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You will oversee pricing, inventory, and displays, while coordinating with the Taquería Manager. A friendly, service-oriented mindset and leadership skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of grocery or food retail experience.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to transfer to other store locations if needed.
• Must work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Taquería Manager with planning, organizing, and controlling Juice Bar operations to achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Train and mentor Juice Bar Cashiers, modeling Vallarta’s core values: customer service, commitment, integrity, respect, humility, and teamwork.
• Prepare and oversee Juice Bar food and beverages, ensuring consistency in quality, appearance, and portion sizes.
• Audit product pricing, tare weights, and inventory accuracy.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts with the Taquería Manager.
• Maintain food in refrigeration cases fresh, rotated, and in compliance with Health Department standards.
• Order supplies, packaging, and utensils in a timely manner to prevent out-of-stocks.
• Create attractive, fully stocked displays with accurate signage and pricing.
• Greet customers, address escalated feedback, and use suggestive selling techniques to promote sales.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance in all Juice Bar areas.
• Enforce Vallarta’s dress code, safety, and sanitation policies.
• Report employee complaints, concerns, or injuries to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
