Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Entry-level position; extensive experience not required.
• Successful applicants must pass physical fitness test, pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Criminal records check and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete an approximate 15-week pre-service Academy.
• Begin salary progression within the first year after Academy.
• Obtain Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements during training.
• Learn and perform security and custody duties including handcuffing, defensive spray, baton use, CPR and first aid.
