The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished law schools, offers cross-disciplinary legal education in a collaborative environment with an innovative curriculum. We seek an Associate Director of Judicial Clerkships to lead vision for clerkship programming, provide career counseling, oversee applications, and coordinate resources for students and alumni.

Qualifications

Advanced degree required; J.D. strongly preferred; 3–5 years legal work experience.
Ability to design and implement educational programming in career planning.
Proven collaboration skills and ability to work with faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic vision for clerkship programming and services for students and alumni.
Develop and oversee career strategy for clerkships and internships.
Provide career counseling and help with applications, resumes, and interviews.
Educate colleagues on clerkship trends to align advising services.
Coordinate admin processing of recommendation letters and applications.
Lead academic careers programming for Penn Carey Law students and alumni.
