Job summary

San Francisco Unified School District is seeking a Director to oversee all JROTC operations, ensuring compliance with Army and state requirements and advancing district MJROTC goals. You will lead hiring, performance coaching, and program development across SFUSD schools.

The role demands strong analytics, collaboration, and strategic leadership to strengthen instructional leadership and community partnerships within SFUSD.

Qualifications

• Possession of a baccalaureate degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Four (4) years of verifiable experience leading JROTC programs.
• Strong analytics and systems thinking to interpret data and drive goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of all JROTC units in SFUSD and advocate at state/national levels.
• Ensure compliance with Army and California JROTC requirements.
• Coordinate instructor hiring and vacancies with HR and the JROTC portal.
• Develop and maintain JROTC program budget and property management.
• Engage with Board of Education meetings and district events.
