Qualifications

• Retired or separated U.S. Army Officers in grades O-3 through O-6 or W-1 through W-5 with a minimum of 8 years of service.
• Must meet all U.S. Army JROTC eligibility requirements and certification processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and mentoring abilities for high school students.

Responsibilities

• Teach the U.S. Army JROTC curriculum and related coursework.
• Develop students' leadership, teamwork, citizenship, and character.
• Mentor and motivate students toward personal and academic success.
• Lead physical training and hands-on learning experiences.
• Plan and supervise cadet competitions, ceremonies, field trips, camps, and community service.
• Foster student participation and enthusiasm for the JROTC program.
• Create a positive, structured, student-centered learning environment.
• Develop strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.
