Baltimore County Public Schools is seeking a JROTC instructor for secondary students. You will plan and deliver lessons, supervise cadets, and monitor progress in a dynamic school setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the JROTC Supervisor and military service managers, leading color guard and drill activities, and maintaining records. Some after-school duties may apply. A valid Maryland teaching credential is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Maryland Educator Certificate or eligibility for assignment.
• Knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, instructional techniques, and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Instructs cadets in the JROTC curriculum and develops lesson plans.
• Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment during classes.
• Recruits cadets and counsels students; submits government reports on time.
• Plans instructional programs aligned with system goals and student needs.
• Coordinates with BCPS JROTC Supervisor and military service managers.
• Organizes extracurricular activities such as color guard and drill teams.
• Keeps current with military standards and physical fitness requirements.
