Job summary

ODLS Education Program Coordinator is a home-based role within the Stride K12 family. The position focuses on monitoring students' progress toward Industry Recognized Credentials and supporting graduation pathway planning.

You will provide counseling, help chart academic journeys, and collaborate with students to align pathways with future careers while upholding district policies and ensuring program integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • 2+ years in education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in education program coordination or counseling is preferred.

Essential Functions
  • Industry Recognized Credentials (IRCs): Monitor and oversee students' progress towards obtaining Industry Recognized Credentials, ensuring they are on track to meet program requirements.
  • Graduation Pathway Counseling: Provide comprehensive graduation pathway counseling to students, assisting them in charting their academic journey and aligning it with their future career goals.
  • Future Goal Alignment: Collaborate with students to align their chosen graduation pathways with their long-term career aspirations, offering guidance and support to help them succeed.

Additional responsibilities and tasks pertaining to enhancing and maintaining engagement, promoting academic progress, and facilitating successful graduation.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated by the assigned administrator in accordance with the district's employee evaluation framework. Evaluation criteria will include the coordinator's effectiveness in supporting students' progress toward graduation requirements, the accuracy and timeliness of credential tracking, the quality of graduation pathway counseling provided, communication and collaboration with students and staff, and adherence to all school policies and professional standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 or more years in education experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in education program coordination or counseling.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Industry Recognized Credentials and graduation pathway options.
