About the Role
In this opportunity as a Jr. Specialist Editor, you will:
Develop, write, and meticulously edit high-quality legal commentary on Intellectual Property Litigation for sophisticated professionals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engagement across various content formats.
Uphold and establish rigorous editorial standards for legal accuracy, style consistency, and factual correctness, driving continuous improvement in content quality.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging issues, legislation, agency regulations, court cases, and industry trends in Intellectual Property Law to inform content strategy and development.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external subject matter experts to gather insights, incorporate feedback, and enhance the quality and relevance of content.
Use practical Intellectual Property Litigation experience to provide innovative content suggestions and ensure the timeliness and reliability of published materials and insights.
Partner cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, and development teams to align content initiatives with business objectives and promotional strategies.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Jr. Specialist Editor if you have the following required qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is a mandatory requirement.
A minimum of 5 years of practice experience specializing in Intellectual Property Litigation.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of transforming complex legal concepts into clear, concise, and authoritative content.
Strong analytical and legal research capabilities, with the ability to dissect and synthesize emerging legal issues, legislation, and court rulings.
Experience or familiarity with AI and generative AI tools as applied to legal research and content creation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, enabling effective partnership with diverse teams and efficient management of multiple priorities.
Additional preferred qualifications include:
Demonstrated ability to uphold and apply rigorous editorial standards for legal accuracy, style, and factual correctness.
Familiarity with content management systems and editorial tools.
Understanding of technology trends impacting Intellectual Property Law.
