Duties

Manage a full caseload of civil insurance defense matters, including construction defect and bodily injury claims

Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and court hearings

Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

Negotiate case resolutions and settlements

Provide case updates and strategic reporting to clients

Appear in court and independently handle assignments with minimal oversight

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years’ litigation experience in insurance defense

Proven experience in construction defect and bodily injury matters required

Licensed to practice law in Texas (additional state licenses a plus)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage complex litigation independently in a remote environment

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
