The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include daily communication with the Executive Chef regarding planning, staffing, and procedures; completing daily food requisitions and specials; assisting in hiring, training, and coaching; contributing to menu development; managing inventory; maintaining a clean kitchen; and ensuring dishes are prepared to perfection.

Qualifications
  • College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a hotel or resort

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage inventory, including ordering and receiving
