Summary

As an entry-level Software Engineer, you will be the pilot driving AI tools for code generation, peer reviews, security scanning, quality assurance, and production support. Your primary responsibility is not to hand-write code all day, but to serve as the skilled human-in-the-cockpit ensuring AI-generated solutions are correct, secure, and performant, and solve the most impactful business problems.

• Perform code reviews on AI-generated and human-written pull requests.
• Prompt and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Identify bugs, security issues, performance problems, or architectural mismatches in AI output and either fix them or re-prompt effectively.
• After you launch the solution, constantly circle back with the business to confirm the solution is solving the problem and rapidly iterate to improve its effectiveness.
• Work in a team setting with other engineers or tackle a problem independently.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of professional experience (internships and academic or personal projects count).
• Ability to quickly read, understand, and debug C#/.NET code.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Git and pull-request-based workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly explain technical work, reasoning, and trade-offs, verbally and in writing, to engineers and business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and prompt-driven development (professional, internship, academic, or personal projects).
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Exposure to automated testing (unit, integration, or end-to-end).
