Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks a Jr. Plant Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects within scope, timeline, and budget. You will coordinate internal and external resources in a matrixed environment to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering strongly desired; BA/PM-related degrees also considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the Manufacturing industry in an engineering role.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to scope, timeline and budget.
  • Direct or advise internal/external resources in a matrixed organization.
  • Coordinate team efforts to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Oversee detailed engineering, manufacturing, FAT readiness, and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Review order content and manage engineering approvals and planning.
  • Lead changes in project scope to minimize risk and improve success.

  • Project Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Readiness review process, planner, and process execution owner.
  • Maintain the relationships across support Project Manager Peers as well as internal partners.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).

Preferred Skills:

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
