Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Alliance, Texas seeks a seasoned Lean leader to drive manufacturing excellence on-site. You will lead Lean strategy deployment, coach senior management, and coordinate Lean initiatives across complex projects to ensure continuous improvement and strong execution.

You will guide teams, manage change, and leverage SAP and digital manufacturing tools to optimize processes, while maintaining safety and quality as you advance Siemens’ Lean agenda in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in business or related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten years of lean experience in a manufacturing/operations position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with focus on liability risks.
  • Leadership experience with formal supervisory authority.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment leading other leaders.
  • Sound judgement and decision making along conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with automation and digital manufacturing technology (preferred).
  • SAP experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Consulting/coaching BU Senior Management on Lean topics across the value chain.

  • Coordinate and allocate resources for Lean support in projects.
  • Recommend and track Lean trainings for different org/competence levels.
  • Ensure documentation, controlling and monitoring of Lean implementation progress.
  • Act as change manager to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead Lean communities and share best practices.
  • Provide feedback on Lean activities and learning across the organization.

This position reports to the Head of Manufacturing responsible for our highly visible project in the Alliance, Texas area. The successful candidate will provide clear leadership of an environment focused on Lean strategies. Derives and implements Lean strategy, guidelines and methodologies to achieve sustainable Lean implementation. This position requires the selected candidate to be on-site.

You will make an impact by:
  • Consulting/ coaching BU Senior Management on Lean topics, for all steps and aspects of the respective business value chain.
  • Selecting together with business responsible projects for strategic introduction and continuous improvement of Lean.
  • Coordinating and allocating resources for the Lean support in the projects.
  • Recommending and tracking Lean trainings for different org/ competence levels.
  • Ensuring documentation, controlling and monitoring of Lean implementation progress.
  • Acting as change Manager, ensures a consequent continuous improvement.
  • Leading Lean communities in BU and communicates best practices and progress of the transition.
  • Providing regular feedback on current activities and learning/ best practices during BUs Lean implementation in Siemens Lean Communities and /or Functional Board decisions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS/BA, BS in business or related field or equivalent.

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
