About the Role

Patient Advocates assist families in navigating the Single‑Case Agreement (SCA) process and securing insurance authorizations. This role involves educating clients on treatment plans, encouraging engagement, handling data entry, follow‑ups, and negotiations, and employing inside‑sales techniques with a strong sales‑oriented mindset and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for families and insurers, guiding them through the SCA process.
• Gather client information, explain admissions, and use inside‑sales techniques to promote ABA services.
• Work with clinical teams to develop treatment plans and compile supporting documentation.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure SCAs for ABA services.
• Maintain detailed records of communications with families, insurers, and internal teams.
• Track SCAs, provide updates, and address client concerns.
• Stay current on regulations, trends, and best practices for effective advocacy.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance ABA and ASD expertise.

Qualifications

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in admissions or inside sales, preferably in the ABA or ASD service industry.
• Strong understanding of the Single‑Case Agreement process and insurance regulations.
• Proven track record in negotiation and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings.
