Job Overview

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER at GDIT. Tailor cutting‑edge solutions to the unique requirements of our prestigious client in the federal government, prioritizing end user experience while advancing your career.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software products and enhance existing software.
• Integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
• Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
• Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.
• Provide input for technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for process‑specific hardware and application issues.
• Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• Required Experience: 3 years’ experience with at least 2 years in software development, including design, coding, testing, and documentation of software products or applications.
• Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance).
• Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
• Preferred Skills: Development experience with .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
