Tulzi Technologies, LLC in Ft. Washington, MD is seeking a junior to mid-level RHEL Systems Administrator with TS/SCI clearance, onsite at Ft. Washington, MD or Warrenton, VA.

The role focuses on administration and monitoring of a Cameo TeamWorks Cloud cluster, ensuring high availability and secure operations. You will configure Linux systems, manage virtual desktops, script tasks, and support user profiles while collaborating with IS security and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience as Red Hat Systems Administrator in a Linux environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand, configure and implement systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment.
• Monitor Cameo systems, maintain integrity and accessibility of server resources, hardware, systems and processes.
• Configure and maintain Cameo systems within a cloud environment, ensuring high availability of systems and services.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot user profiles in a virtual desktop environment.
• Monitor and optimize system storage on a virtual desktop.
• Create and delete user sessions and profiles on a virtual desktop.
• Manage user groups and permissions, and user access to systems.
• Maintain documentation including SOPs and RunBooks, and backlog of work items in Agile environment.
• Maintain work and change management requests in JIRA.
• Assist IS Security and Engineering in implementing security measures and compliance.

Junior to mid RHEL (Red Hat Linux) Systems Administrator

primarily responsible for administration and monitoring of our data modeling environment which is a Cameo TeamWorks Cloud cluster.

• Understand, configure and implement systems using Linux command-line in a cloud environment
• Monitor the Cameo systems, maintain the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.
• Responsible for configuration and maintenance of Cameo systems within a cloud environment, ensuring high availability of systems and services
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot user profile issues in a virtual desktop environment.
• Monitor and Optimize system storage disk on a virtual desktop
• Create and delete user sessions and profiles on a virtual desktop
• Responsible for user support, user groups and permissions, and user accessibility to system
• Create, maintain and update documentation including SOPs and RunBooks, and maintain a thorough backlog of work items in an Agile environment
• Responsible for maintaining work and change management requests in JIRA
• Assist Information Systems Security and Engineering teams in implementing measures to ensure compliance with security standards

Qualifications:

• Top Secret Clearance with SCI
• IAT Level II certification
• Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line
• Familiarity with XRDP
• Knowledge of image creation and deployment of a virtual desktop
• Understanding of managing multiple users’ sessions or a basic understanding of sessman in a virtual desktop environment.
• Knowledge of Cameo NoMagic
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of JIRA
• Preferred, but Not Required
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
