Texas Sterling Construction in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Junior Estimator to support heavy civil bids, perform quantity takeoffs, and provide CAD drafting and BIM modeling help. The role is ideal for someone early in their construction career who wants hands-on experience.

You'll work with the estimating team, review plans, and assist with bid preparation and submissions, developing skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and related tools while building a long-term career in heavy civil

Formación

• Approximately 2 years of experience with CAD/estimating tools preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction plans, design and estimation concepts.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Desire to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction estimating.

Texas Sterling Construction is looking for a Junior Estimator to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who wants to build their experience in heavy civil estimating, quantity takeoffs, CAD, and BIM modeling.

The Junior Estimator will work closely with our estimating team and assist with the preparation of accurate and competitive bids for heavy civil construction projects. This position will be heavily involved in quantity takeoffs and estimating, while also providing CAD drafting and BIM modeling support.

• Approximately 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software preferred
• Basic understanding of construction plans, design, and engineering principles
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Experience or interest in quantity takeoffs and construction estimating
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Desire to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction estimating
