Qualifications

This role is responsible for analyzing project documents, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, coordinating with subcontractors, and developing competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review cut/fill maps
• Analyze site conditions and historical cost data
• Coordinate subcontractor quotes and ensure full scope coverage
• Submit RFIs and incorporate addenda and revisions
• Collaborate with Business Development and the Head of Estimating
• Pre-review and finalize bids prior to submission

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field preferred
• Experience estimating in a similar role (heavy civil for Commercial/Industrial projects)
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCSS
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
