Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Junior Design Consultant to elevate guest experience through on-demand design services and in-store experiences at our Roswell, GA location.

You will partner with other Design Consultants to expand community reach and promote design services, empowering guests to customize their spaces. You will report to the Store Leader and support appointments, store operations, and training activities, while demonstrating a passion for design and a willingness to learn our brand

• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license required for home visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs and present solutions to guests seeking design expertise primarily through on-demand design experiences.
• Provide design expertise for appointments (studio/home), virtual appointments, and on-demand design time.
• Support store team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising reinforcement, and product training activities.
• Assist larger projects with mentorship to learn brand methods and processes.

As a JR Design Consultant, you will be responsible for elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service. Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach. You are the champion of guest engagement, so our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space. You will report to the Store Leader.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Roswell,GA. location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Store hours Monday-Saturday 10am-6m and Sunday 12pm-6pm

What You'll Do

• Coordinate needs and present solutions and alternatives to individual guests seeking design expertise primarily through the “on-demand” design experience.
• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (studio and home visits), virtual appointments, and “on-demand” design time.
• Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities, including order entry, visual floorsets and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities.
• Support larger projects driven by the assigned mentor or other Design Consultants with the intent to learn professional and brand methods.

What You'll Bring

• Exhibit a passion for design and a willing curiosity to understand and grow in the design program for our brand.
• Minimum of 6 months of retail experience in a Frontgate store or one year of retail experience in the home décor market and/or a recent college degree or associate degree graduate with a design focus.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs.; climb ladders.
