Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to elevate guest experience through personalized design services at our Columbus, OH location. You will work with other consultants to expand market reach and promote Design Solutions to local organizations.

The role involves scheduling appointments, providing design expertise, and supporting the retail store team with merchandising and product training. On-site work and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of interior design, consultation, and event planning experience.
• Space planning skills and ability to read architectural plans.
• Basic drafting skills and basic floor plan interpretation.
• Valid driver's license and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service. Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach. You are the champion of guest engagement, so our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space. You will report to the Store Leader.

Where You’ll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Columbus, OH location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and "on-demand" design time. Identify and network with local organizations and businesses that would benefit from Design Solutions services and provide them with DS marketing materials. Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities, including order entry, visual floorsets and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities.

What You’ll Bring

2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning Space planning skills Employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's license Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
