Job summary

QVC Group, an on-site design-focused role at our Atlanta, GA Frontgate location, seeks a Design Consultant to elevate guest experiences through personalized design services. You will host Studio and Home visits, and virtual sessions, helping guests customize spaces and feel empowered during shopping events.

You will partner with the store team, identify local outreach opportunities, and contribute to merchandising, training, and marketing efforts to grow our DS footprint and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of interior design experience (or equivalent)
• Experience in client consultations and design services
• Ability to read architectural/basic floor plans and draft concepts

• Provide design expertise for scheduled and on-demand appointments, both in-store and virtual
• Identify local organizations for Design Solutions marketing and outreach

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for many facets of elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service. Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach. You are the champion of guest engagement so that our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space. You will report to the Assistant Store Manager.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Atlanta, GA Frontgate location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and "on-demand" design time.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses that would benefit from Design Solutions services and provide them with DS marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities, including, order entry, visual floorsets and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ year's experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning.
• Space planning skills.
• Employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's license.
