Job summary

QVC Group in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Design Consultant to elevate guest experience and grow our complimentary design service. You will partner with fellow consultants to extend outreach, empower guests to customize spaces, and support the store team with merchandising and training. On-site role, relocation not offered.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in interior design, space planning, and the ability to read plans. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning.
• Space planning skills.
• Basic drafting to read and interpret architectural plans and floor plans.
• Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's license.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and on-demand design time.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses for DS marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising reinforcement, and product training.

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service.

Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach.

You are the champion of guest engagement, so our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space

You will report to the Store Leader

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Tysons Corner VA. location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and \"on-demand\" design time


• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses that would benefit from Design Solutions services and provide them with DS marketing materials.


• Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities, including order entry, visual floorsets and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities
