Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a Jr. IT Software Asset Management Consultant to support government hardware lifecycle management and help maintain operational excellence in a federal environment.

This role covers the full hardware asset lifecycle, ensures CMDB and inventory accuracy, and assists with equipment shipments and transfers. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hardware IT Asset Management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain security eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hardware-focused IT Asset Management experience.
• Experience with CMDB and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation quality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for access to classified information (security investigation).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full hardware asset lifecycle, including receiving, tagging, shipping, recovery, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate asset records and support physical and logistical inventory audits.
• Process request-fulfillment tickets in alignment with SLAs and customer expectations.
• Participate as a member of an IT Asset Management Team, including government and vendor partners.
• Update process documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with multiple vendor partners to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
• Must be able to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 pounds.

This role is engaged in the full hardware asset lifecycle, ensures CMDB and inventory accuracy, and assists with equipment shipments and transfers. The ideal candidate is a strong oral and written communicator, team player, and analytical thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the full hardware asset lifecycle, including receiving, tagging, shipping, recovery, and disposal
• Maintain accurate asset records and support both physical and logistical inventory audits
• Process request-fulfillment tickets in alignment with SLAs and customer expectations
