Job summary

Lyon Living is hiring a Jr. Maintenance Technician for The Parker in San Diego, CA. This role involves maintaining property cleanliness, servicing trash areas, ensuring tools are in order, and performing basic housekeeping to prepare apartments for occupancy.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are currently looking to fill a Jr. Maintenance Technician position for The Parker, our property located in San Diego, CA.

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00; on-site housing not offered

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.
• Ensure the property’s central trash removal areas and/or compactors are serviced, emptied and kept clean.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are in working order.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
• Clean light fixtures, windows, various equipment, laundry rooms, and clean storage and common areas including the clubhouse, recreation room, office, and fitness center.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and accurately complete work records.
• Store chemicals, cleaning products and hazardous materials safely.
• Maintain work, supply carts and storage areas in a neat and organized manner.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, OT, On-Call)
• Reliable transportation.
• This position requires attendance at off‑site meetings, visits to other company‑operated locations, purchase of goods from off‑site vendors, and other tasks away from a single assigned location. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license or be able to utilize an alternative form of transportation at their own expense that allows them to reach the required destination in a time period comparable to that of driving their own vehicle. Employees choosing to drive their own vehicle for work‑related duties must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance, and may be subject to a DMV record search.
