Job summary

Protective Life seeks an experienced software engineer to build AI-powered features on Azure Databricks and Azure, and to advance GenAI capabilities like RAG, embeddings, and vector search.

You will integrate with the data stack (DLT, dbt, Dagster) and deploy models with MLflow, contributing to an innovative, wellbeing-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years (JR) or 5-8 years (SR) of software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills; familiarity with JS/TS or JVM languages a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and test-supported development.
