Job summary

The role requires 5+ years of DS experience, strong modeling and statistics, and hands-on AI/LLM expertise. Insurance domain experience is a plus, with excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Science experience.

• Hands-on experience with Python or R.

A top insurance client is looking for a new Sr. AI Data Scientist to lead projects on the team and work closely with the business. In this role you will join a lean team of 7 Data Science professionals driving predictive analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI initiatives across the business. This is a highly visible, hands-on role owning projects from ideation through production deployment.

Day-to-Day

• Build predictive models and machine learning solutions
• Develop AI-powered applications using LLMs and Generative AI
• Analyze large datasets to uncover business insights
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities
• Present recommendations and drive adoption of analytical solutions
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to operationalize solutions

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Data Science experience
• Strong predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistics background
• Python or R
• Strong SQL
• Experience working with large datasets
• Hands-on Generative AI / LLM experience
