You will work with journal entries, account reconciliations, and ERP systems to improve processes. Strong Excel skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated individual with a passion for numbers and problem-solving. You'll contribute to our month-end closing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This onsite role offers a chance to develop your skills in a supportive team that values precision, communication, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end closing activities, including processing journal entries and accruals
• Complete cash and general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Review, report, and reconcile bank and credit card merchant statements
• Execute monthly corporate credit card expense allocations and benefit allocations
• Support daily, monthly, and yearly audit functions as part of our financial integrity team
• Utilize our ERP system to analyze general ledger activity and improve processes through suggested enhancements
• Contribute to various ad-hoc projects, supporting continuous improvement efforts

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, filters, and tables)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and solving problems as they arise

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
• Bank account reconciliation experience
• Retail accounting background
