Job summary

NOVOMATIC Americas, a subsidiary of NOVOMATIC Group, is seeking an accounting professional in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role covers credit-control, bookkeeping, and support for AP/AR processes, with a focus on accurate reconciliations and timely month-end close.

1+ years of accounting experience and strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge are preferred. Ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Accounting, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with ERP systems like Microsoft Business Central.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting/finance or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ years accounting experience or internships for new graduates.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and solid MS Office proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete credit-control activities including statements and past-due balances coordination.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Complete bookkeeping and cash reconciliation tasks.
• Provide Month-End close support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Complete credit-control activities including preparing customer account statements, contacting customers regarding past-due balances, and coordinating with account managers to resolve outstanding issues.
• Completed Bookkeeping and cash reconciliation process.
• Month-End close support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of Accounting experience or multiple internships for new graduate.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems advantageous (Microsoft Business Central)
• Demonstrated experience/working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines
• Team player with good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
