Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in The Hamlin area is seeking a friendly Baker (Joy Creator) to greet guests, share cake options, and help celebrate life’s moments with our signature Bundt treats.

You will learn NB C Sweet Steps of Service, operate a POS system, and assist with decorations and packaging while keeping the bakery inviting and clean. Training provided, with plenty of opportunities to grow within the brand.

Qualifications

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Educate guests on cake options, sizes, flavors, and promotions.
• Promote merchandise to complete celebrations.
• Operate POS to process orders accurately.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist in preparing decorations and packaging as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone guests with warmth and helpful enthusiasm.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cakes and promotions.
• Suggest additional merch to celebrate occasions.
• Process orders efficiently using the POS system.
• Keep bakery clean and well-presented, including counters and displays.
• Restock retail items and cake display cases as needed.
• Assist Crafter with decorations and packaging supplies.
• Follow health, safety, and dress code standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

Our brand-new Bakery in The Hamlin area is opening soon, and we’re on the hunt for Joy Creators to help us bring the sweet vibes from day one! Accountabilities/Duties:

• Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.

• Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions and complementary retail merchandise.

• Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles and cards, to complete unique celebration.

• Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing point-of-sale system and invites guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.

• Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.

• Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.

• Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.

• Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
