Nothing Bundt Cakes’ new bakery in The SODO area is opening soon, and we’re hiring Joy Creators to help guests celebrate life’s moments with our signature Bundt cakes. As a Baker, you’ll be at the heart of the experience, crafting our desserts with care and helping guests choose the perfect treat.

• Genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm when greeting guests.
• Strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake options, sizes and flavors.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet walk-in and phone guests with warmth and enthusiasm to determine interests and needs.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on cake distinction, size and flavor options.
• Suggest additional merchandise to complete celebrations.
• Process guest orders accurately using point-of-sale system and engage Email Club.
• Keep bakery presentation clean and organized, including surfaces and display cases.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display for strong visuals.
• Assist crafter with decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, you’ll be the life of the party, helping guests celebrate life’s moments big and small — one perfectly Bundt cake at a time. Accountabilities/Duties:

• Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions and complementary retail merchandise.
• Suggets additional merchandise, including balloons, candles and cards, to complete unique celebration.
• Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing point-of-sale system and invites guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
• Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.
• Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
