Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Joy Creator to join our Guest Service Team in delivering memorable guest experiences.

You will welcome guests, assist with in-store and phone orders, recommend cakes and celebration items, and ensure a positive, upbeat atmosphere on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• No formal education or previous work experience is required.
• Previous guest service experience in a bakery, restaurant, retail store, or similar environment is a plus—but we'll teach the right person!

Responsibilities

• Greet every walk-in and phone guest with warmth and a helpful attitude.
• Process guest orders using the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Learn cakes, flavors, sizes, pricing, and promotions to confidently help guests.
• Recommend celebration extras such as balloons, candles, and cards.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and ready to welcome guests.
• Assist with preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies when needed.
• Follow all food safety, health, cleanliness, dress code, and company policies.

Training for this position will take place at our Gilbert Bakery, located approximately 5 miles away at 2285 E. Baseline Rd., Suite 103, Gilbert, AZ 85234.

As a Joy Creator, you will:

• Follow Nothing Bundt Cakes Sweet Steps of Service to create an exceptional guest experience.
• Learn our cakes, flavors, sizes, pricing, promotions, and retail merchandise so you can confidently help guests find exactly what they need.
• Recommend celebration extras such as balloons, candles, cards, and other merchandise.
• Accurately and efficiently process guest orders using our point-of-sale system.
• Invite guests to join the Nothing Bundt Cakes Loyalty Program and stay connected with upcoming promotions.
• Keep the Bakery clean, organized, stocked, and ready to welcome guests.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain an attractive cake display.
• Assist with preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies when needed.
• Follow all food safety, health, cleanliness, dress code, and company policies.
• Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance.
• Jump in wherever needed to support your teammates and create a great Bakery experience.
