Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level welding experience.
• Welding tests and a valid driver's license required.
• TWIC card required or preferred as per job postings.

Responsibilities

• Welds or tack welds pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment per layout or instructions.
• Unites pipes and components, adjusting flame, gas flow and temperature.
• Preheats work pieces and prepares welds according to procedures.
• May instruct on welding techniques and ensure joins meet specifications.
• Assists with lifting and positioning parts with crane or hoist as needed.
