Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician for Napleton's Ellwood City CDJR. This position repairs and maintains vehicles to dealer and factory standards, building customer trust through accurate diagnoses and repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to customers and staff as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
